Matthew Little has served as the Director of Operations at Remai Modern since 2022. Since joining the museum, he has led the transition to a new food and beverage provider and worked with the in-house events team to grow event rental revenue substantially.

Originally from St. Catharines Ontario, Matthew moved to western Canada in 2002 after graduating from Niagara College to begin a career in hospitality. 

Over his nearly 25-year career, Matthew’s passion for people and hospitality has led him to work in many different spaces including country clubs, hotels, and casinos. His areas of focus are food and beverage services and event sales.

He relocated to Saskatoon in 2010 after meeting his partner Kerynn. He went on earn a degree from the University of Saskatchewan in Applied Science, Sociology and Business. 

Prior to joining Remai Modern, Matthew spent four years as the Corporate Food and Beverage Manager for SIGA overseeing operations for seven casinos throughout Saskatchewan. 

Matthew serves on the Sask Polytech Program Advisory Committee as Board Chair and is also on the Business Events Advisory Panel board for Discover Saskatoon.
